Video Tags
FCP Video Tag automatically generates keywords based on the content of the images of videos and photographs that are dragged onto the application.
Using the MobileNet neural network, classification of the images and frames of the video is performed, and this classification is used to generate keywords.
All processing is done on the computer and no images are sent to any remote server.
Text Tags
All texts in images and frames are recognized, again by artificial intelligence identification.
And all texts are used to generate keywords.
Also in this case the processing is done on the computer and no data is sent to any server in the cloud.
Shot Type
This experimental feature also allows identifying the type of shot for movies, with three options: close-up, medium shot and long shot.
Processing is done with a neural network and model developed specifically for this application.
Again, no data is sent to the cloud.
Audio tags
For movies that have a sound track and for audio files, it is possible to transcribe the text and use this text to generate keywords, using the same engine as AudioTags, our automatic audio file tagging application.
For the whole spoken text recognition system you can go to set keyword filtering preferences and automatic generation of secondary keywords.
For text transcription it is of course necessary to set the speech language among 40+ available.
Text recognition is done in the cloud by Apple’s servers.

Settings
FCP video Tag is highly configurable for all your needs: you can set parameters for metadata (folder and subfolder names), video analysis (how many frames to scan the image for) and audio (the language and the minimum number of repetitions).

The Tag Manager is a powerful database that allows, with a relatively simple user interface, not only to add and remove keywords to be ignored, but also allows you to set rules for generating keywords based on other keywords.
