The interface is divided into the following functional topics:
1. Drop & Sync Setup Panel
This top section manages media ingestion and global matching parameters. It provides designated zones to load reference source files and target files, a destination selector for processed assets, and a sensitivity control to adjust how strict the automated matching algorithm is.
2. Content Section (Matches List)
The central scrollable area displays the results of the fingerprinting analysis. It organizes items into "Correspondences" (successful matches), "Orphan Originals" (unmatched reference files), and "Orphan To Match" (unmatched target files). Each match row includes tools for validation, such as toggling individual match status, accessing alternative candidates, and performing visual verification.
3. Filter & View Configuration Bar
Positioned below the content list, this bar manages how items are displayed. It provides a filename search, controls to switch between List and Grid views, media-type toggles (Video, Audio, Images), and an expandable drawer for advanced metadata filtering based on date, duration, file size, and resolution.
4. Action Execution Footer
The bottom bar provides workflow execution triggers. It includes options to reset the entire session, clear only resolved matches, rename matched files in their current location, and execute the primary transfer or overwrite action based on the chosen processing strategy.
- Sources Drop Area: Loads reference or canonical media files (video, audio, or images) into the application to establish the baseline dictionary of assets that incoming files will be analyzed against. Dropping files or folders onto this area parses compatible media types and recursively scans directories to populate the reference database. A numerical badge displays the count of loaded source items.
- To Match Drop Area: Loads target media files that need to be compared, identified, and synchronized with the reference database. Dropping files or folders onto this area populates the list of assets to be analyzed; the application automatically runs fingerprinting algorithms on these files to find correspondences within the loaded sources. A numerical badge indicates the count of target items currently loaded.
- Ignore Sources in Destination Toggle: Instructs the scanning module to check whether files matching the scanned source names already exist in the selected destination folder. When activated, the application cross-references scanned source names with files at the destination path; if a file with an identical name already exists, the source file is skipped from the active analysis list to avoid duplicate processing in incremental sync workflows. When deactivated, all scanned source files are analyzed regardless of their presence at the target destination.
- Destination Drop Area: Defines the disk directory where matched files will be transferred and synchronized when the processing strategy is set to move assets to a new location. This element displays the label of the currently selected folder path, providing visual confirmation of the target directory. Tapping this area manually opens a macOS file-selection panel to choose a new destination, while dragging and dropping a folder onto it immediately sets the application's persistent target path.
- Match Sensitivity Control: Dynamically adjusts the minimum confidence score required for an automatic match to be accepted, instantly triggering a match recalculation whenever the value is changed. Moving the control to the extreme minimum creates an extremely lenient pairing mechanism, allowing the system to associate assets even if they share minimal technical or visual fingerprints. Moving it to the extreme maximum enforces an extremely strict pairing mechanism, ensuring the system only associates files that are virtually identical in terms of technical specifications like length, sample rate, resolution, or frame count. The selected strictness level is reflected by the displayed percentage value, with the default setting providing a balanced optimization for transcoded proxies or alternate audio channels while avoiding false positives.
- Mark Matched Toggle: Toggles the "confirmed" processing status for an individual pair of files. When activated, the match is validated and will be included in the final file operations, such as moving to a destination or renaming in place. When deactivated, the match is excluded from any file actions, allowing the user to override automated pairings and prevent specific files from being processed.
- Alternatives Trigger: Opens a dedicated conflict resolution interface for manual review and re-association. This is invoked when automated algorithms yield multiple high-probability candidates or a disputed match, providing a pathway to inspect alternate candidate files and manually override the selected correspondence.
- Original Asset Preview and Footer: Displays the visual content of the reference source file alongside its technical metadata. The footer provides the file's name, last modification date, resolution, and file size, establishing the baseline characteristics for the comparison.

- Target Audio Waveform: Provides a visual representation of the incoming audio file's amplitude envelope over time. The vertical bars indicate the intensity of the audio signal, enabling a direct visual comparison of the dynamic profiles between the reference and the target asset.
- Playhead Indicator: A vertical white line superimposed over both waveforms that represents the current synchronized playback position within the audio files. It provides a real-time reference point for identifying and comparing specific moments or transients within the two tracks simultaneously.
- Waveform Seek Area: An interactive timeline overlay on the waveform graphics. Clicking or tapping anywhere along the waveform translates the horizontal position into a percentage of the total track duration, forcing both audio instances to seek to that exact timecode for synchronized inspection of specific sections.
- Match Confidence Indicator: Presents a calculated similarity score, ranging from 0% to 100%, that quantifies the closeness of the correspondence between the paired assets. A high percentage, such as 99.1%, signifies a near-perfect match. A visual seal icon reflects the quality and certainty of this assessment, reinforcing the confidence in the pairing.
- Synchronized Playback Toggle: Initiates or halts the synchronized playback of both the original reference file and the matched target file. Engaging this starts the simultaneous playback of both tracks to allow for real-time verification of sync, phase consistency, or alignment. Disengaging it pauses both tracks concurrently.
- Search Field: Performs a case-insensitive search across filenames, dynamically filtering the visible asset lists to show only items whose names contain the entered text query. A clear function is available to remove the current query.
- Advanced Filters Toggle: Toggles the visibility of the detailed metadata filter drawer, which contains constraints for date, duration, file size, and resolution. Activating this reveals the technical filtering options, while deactivating it collapses the drawer to keep the interface compact.
- View Mode Selector: Switches the display structure of assets between a vertical text list and a visual grid of cards. The list arrangement shows file names, sizes, and analysis errors, while the grid arrangement presents hover-to-play video thumbnails alongside metadata details.
- Date Filter: Restricts displayed media files based on their file system modification or creation dates. The selector offers options to ignore dates, show only files before a specific date, show only files after a specific date, or show only files within a specified range.
- Duration Filter: Filters audio and video assets based on their calculated time duration in seconds. The selector allows ignoring duration or setting constraints for clips shorter than, longer than, or between specific threshold values.
- File Size Filter: Filters assets based on their file size in megabytes. The selector offers options to ignore size or to display only files smaller than, greater than, or within a specific range of megabytes.
- Resolution Filter: Filters video and image files based on their pixel width and height. The selector provides options to ignore resolution or to display only files that match, are at least, or are at most the specified pixel dimensions.
- Video Media Filter: Toggles the visibility of video files (such as
.mp4,.mov,.m4v,.avi, or.mkv) within the active display lists. When activated, video assets are included in the view; when deactivated, they are hidden.
- Audio Media Filter: Toggles the visibility of audio files (such as
.mp3,.wav,.aif,.aiff,.m4a, or.flac) within the active display lists. When activated, audio assets are included in the view; when deactivated, they are hidden.
- Images Media Filter: Toggles the visibility of image files (such as
.jpg,.jpeg,.png,.tiff,.heic, or.webp) within the active display lists. When activated, image assets are included in the view; when deactivated, they are hidden.
This section of the interface contains controls for clearing the application's state.
- Clear Button
- Visual Identification: A button on the left featuring a counter-clockwise circular arrow icon (
arrow.counterclockwise) and the label "Clear" in an orange-brown color. - App Functionality (What it triggers): Resets the entire application session. It removes all loaded source files, all files to be matched, and all resulting matches and orphan files. This action typically presents a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental data loss, effectively returning the application to its initial empty state.

- Visual Sample Count Control: Adjusts the number of frames evaluated for visual and audio fingerprinting during asset scanning. Moving the control to the minimum value yields the fastest scan speed with lower precision, which is ideal for large libraries of distinct clips. Moving it to the maximum value provides higher matching precision for finding variations within very similar footage, such as color corrections or minor timing offsets, but increases central processing unit and memory utilization, as well as analysis time. The current number of frames selected is displayed alongside the control.
Visual

- Overlay Comparison Toggle: Enables an overlay presentation mode within the comparison views for video and image assets. When activated, the original and matching clips are rendered on top of each other, blending opacity or pixels to inspect visual alignment. When deactivated, matched items are displayed side-by-side.
- Difference Blend Mode Toggle: Applies a pixel subtraction formula to the overlay layer. When activated, the application subtracts pixel values between the overlapping layers, rendering identical frames as completely black. Any visual changes—such as different watermarks, scale modifications, color grades, or text additions—appear as colored pixels against the black background, providing a high-precision inspection method for verifying matching proxies. When deactivated, the layers overlay using normal semi-transparency.
