Thumbnail Size Setting

Controls the display dimensions of frame thumbnails in the grid.

• 130 px: The current setting is displayed as a numerical value, representing the size in pixels.
• Adjusting this value increases or decreases the visual scale of thumbnails, allowing you to fit more or fewer frames into the workspace.

Storyboard

Sequence Min. Length: Defines the minimum number of frames a detected shot must contain to be considered a distinct sequence. Shots falling below this threshold are merged with neighboring clips to prevent the creation of overly short, fragmented segments.

Default Weights

These multipliers determine the influence of specific visual features on a frame's overall aesthetic score.

• Faces: The scoring weight applied to detected human faces.
• Eyes: The scoring weight applied to detected human eyes.
• Pets: The scoring weight applied to detected animals.
• Avoid Texts: When enabled, frames containing readable text are penalized or excluded from top results.

Split Sequences

Configures the deep analysis of individual shots.

• Deep Analysis Percentage: The proportion of frames within a detected shot that undergo full visual evaluation.
• Min. Frames: The minimum number of frames evaluated per sequence.
• Enable Max Frames: Toggles a maximum limit on the number of frames evaluated per sequence.
• Threads: The number of CPU cores allocated for parallel processing of sequence analysis.

Skip Short Sequences

• Skip Short Sequences: When enabled, sequences shorter than the minimum duration are skipped during analysis to save processing time.
• Minimum Duration: The minimum duration (in seconds) a sequence must have to be evaluated.

The interface is divided into three primary functional topics. Below is a summary of the purpose for each numbered segment.

1. Image and Video Format Settings

This segment configures the output file type and quality for media exports. For images, it defines the compression format and the visual quality level. For video, it specifies the encoding codec, the target data rate, and includes a control to embed the original audio track into the exported clip.

1. Sub-Sequence Duration Limits

This topic controls the length of exported video clips when the source has been segmented into individual shots. It allows the user to choose between exporting the entire detected shot or truncating the output to a specific maximum duration. The current duration limit is adjusted using a dedicated control.

1. Destination and File Naming

This segment manages the file system output location and naming conventions. It defines where the exported files are saved relative to the source file's location, sets the base name for the output files, and allows for the addition of custom prefixes or suffixes to the file names.
